Na 12 procedures met zijn ex Nancy rondom zijn zoon Ross kon hij enkel vaststellen dat er nog altijd geen contact was waarna hij besloot Ross te onterven mocht blijken als Ross zelf geen contact zocht met hem.
Anders dan Yves Letherme is Peter Soller overleden aan een interne maagbloeding.Soller made 12 unsuccessful applications for custody of Ross. Nancy told the Cape High Court her ex-husband abducted the son on four occasions and had a suspended sentence imposed on him for contempt of court.
